Introduction to the installation of a Cluster platform

The Cluster architecture of cyberelements Cleanroom consists of three roles:

  • The Mediation Controller server that assigns and controls access permissions to managed resources.
  • The Edge Gateway server that acts as a “passive” network gateway to managed resources. This server generates session recordings before storage.
  • The HTML5 Gateway server that is a gateway used for an access without agent on the user side by converting RDP, SSH, and VNC protocols to web flows.

Note

This last server can be deployed on the same machine as the Edge Gateway server.

Cluster architecture typically consists of:

  • Two Mediation Controller servers (mandatory)
  • Two Edge Gateway servers combining the HTML5 Gateway role
